2015 Jamboree

The Buddy Bryant Showcase was a good time. Charles Tilley did a great job of bringing in some super talent including: Henry Matthews from Texarkana; Wayne Morton, president of the Oklahoma Steel Guitar Association; Hank Ruff; Chuck Campbell; Eddie Dunlap is from Nashville and plays for Clay Walker, a fine young man; long time member, Skip Pilgrim; John Lang; Larry Toliver from Abilene, TX; Rose Sinclair, a sweetheart, from Austin, TX; and, Cecil Johnson of Fort Worth, TX, another super player and great singer, and Sharon Denney…hope we remembered everyone. A great bunch of players for an outstanding evening!!

And, the Rick Alexander Non-Pedal Session upstairs was also very good! Jeff Strouse is usually with us to take care of it, but this year he couldn't be here. He helped us out on a lot of stuff via email and phone. We talked Jack Kindle into serving as MC for the session, and with the help of several others, it came off. Billy Robinson is always kind and comes to be with us and play some great music; David Wright, our new Hall of Fame member; Rose Sinclair; Jim Evans; Roger Edgington of San Antonio; Margie Mays of Arizona; John Lang; Capt. Ivan Reddington of Florida; Zane King, Carco Clave, George Rout, Sharon Denney, Wade Pence, Bob Blair, and Herb Steiner. Hope everyone had a chance to enjoy it!
